Trade between China, Russia to reach record high in 2019?

BEIJING - Trade between China and Russia is expected to hit a record high of US$110 billion this year, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced.

China's State newsagency Xinhua quoted MOC spokesperson Gao Feng as saying "the bilateral trade structure has been optimizing".

"In the first 10 months of this year, China's imports of agricultural products from Russia rose 12.4% YoY, while its exports of automobiles to Russia rose 66.4%, Gao said.

China and Russia have designated 2020 and 2021 as years of further scientific and technological co-operation, Xinhua reported.  www.webershandwick.cn (ATI).
