SIA adding Singapore-Sydney route via Jakarta

SINGAPORE - Singapore Airlines will launch a new service to Sydney via Jakarta from November 23, increasing its frequency to and from Sydney to 34 flights weekly. The new service will operates three times weekly, departing Sydney on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 11.am for arrival in Jakarta at 3.45pm and in Singapore at 6.10pm (local times). Flights will depart Singapore on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8.15.pm, arriving in Jakarta at 9.10.pm and in Sydney at 9.30.am next day (local times).

SIA’s Regional Vice President, South West Pacific, Tan Tiow Kor, said the creation of the new route was due to increasing customer demand. “Australia and Indonesia are two of the most popular routes in our global network,” he said.
