Changing of the guard at ANL Container Line

XAVIER EIGLIER has been named Managing Director of ANL Container Line, a wholly-owned subsidiary of France’s CMA CGM, effective once an extensive handover is completed. He succeeds John Lines, who is stepping down from day-to-day operations to become Chairman of ANL.

John Lines has been Managing Director of the firm since 1998 and oversaw the transfer of the container shipping operations and naming rights of ANL from the Australian Government to CMA CGM in 1998.

Xavier Eiglier has been CMA CGM’s Senior Vice President, Emerging Market Lines since March 2017.

He joined CMA CGM in 2007and has variously served as Line Manager, Oceania Lines, Senior Manager Europe/Asia Lines, Vice President CMA CGM French West Indies/Guyana, Vice President Latin America Lines and Vice President Asia/Europe Lines.

He will be spend time in both Melbourne and Singapore. French-born, he is married with five children. www.anl.com.au (ATI)
